The therapy works toward rejuvenation and transformation from within. There are 5 elements of universe, which can be studied in relation to various healing modalities using nature.

5 Elements Of Universe

Mahatattva Therapy (महतत्त्व चिकित्सा)

Mahatattva, or the “Ram Naam” element, is at the heart of naturopathy. Natural healing becomes incomplete without the charge of divine energy or the name of God. With “Ram Naam,” the name of God, the complete power is the source of strength of all the natural elements: space, air, fire, water, and earth. Mahatma Gandhi has stated:
I claim that chanting ‘Ram Naam’ is an excellent remedy for physical ailments.”
Tapping healing with this method depends on prayer and spiritual power.

1. Sky Element Therapy (आकाश तत्त्व चिकित्सा)

Just as Mahatattva (God) is formless but true. Similarly, Sky Element is also formless and true. The best means of Sky Element Therapy is Fasting. The first treatment of simple, cheap, best, infallible, free or natural treatment of a disease is the best means of internal cleansing “Fasting”.

According to Atreya Rishi, “ज्वरादों लंघन कुर्यात”. “During fever and illness, fasting is the best remedy.”

Fasting removes toxins and purifies the body. That is why Sky Element Therapy is done through short and long term fasting like one meal, juice diet, fruit diet, milk diet, buttermilk diet.

2. Air Element Therapy (वायु तत्त्व चिकित्सा)

The air itself carries healing energy.”

This method of treatment is an old method of treatment. Information about this method is found in our Vedas. It is said in Rigveda.”मरुतो तस्य न आ भेष जस्य वहता सुदानवः” Air is beneficial in heart related diseases.

Air increases life-span i.e. Air therapy methods like Pranayama, Yoga, travelling, air intake, air bath etc. are the best therapy methods. “So there is only one treatment of medicine, one air – Shri Krishna and Rishi Patanjali have thrown light on this treatment in Geeta. This medical method has proved to be effective.

This strengthens the heart, increases vitality, and makes a contribution to good health

3. Fire Element Therapy (अग्नि तत्त्व चिकित्सा)

Agni is the foremost priest, the divine purifier.
This is also an effective method.

The first mantra in Rigveda is – “अग्नि भीडे पुरोहितम्”. Prayers have been offered to Agni, the visible form of God.
Agni protects our wealth and people. Sun protects our day. Sunlight is the source of energy. It gives life to the body. “Sunlight has proved to be an ornament for human disease relief.

By sunbathing and sun ray therapy, the patient’s toxins are taken out and he is given a new life. This method is a good and important method. The next method is water therapy.

4. Water Element Therapy (जल तत्त्व चिकित्सा)

We get life from water.
70% of our body is made up of water.
Water therapy is divided into two parts that is Internal Water Therapy and External Water Therapy.

We will look both of these Therapy in next part of blog.
The patient is made healthy through these methods.
Now the last method of therapy is Earth Element Therapy!

5. Earth Element Therapy (पृथ्वी तत्त्व चिकित्सा)

Earth therapy, also called Mud therapy. The use of mud packs or full-body mud wraps helps absorb toxins, relieve inflammation, and promote healing, the toxic elements of the body are thrown out by various strips of mud. And the body is made pure. All the toxins of the body are removed by wrapping them completely with mud.
